Tim age 25 had kept above the poverty line and always obeyed the laws. Unfortunately Tim was loyal towards his friends and when his friend ken asked for help Tim helped no questions asked helped Ken. Ken had committed a crime and by helping out Ken, Tim got convicted of aiding a criminal. Tim got shrunk down to 6 inches tall which is taller then most tinys. Now he is headed with a bunch his size and smaller (plus a couple of bigger) tinys to a grocery store to be sold as food.
Bob age 20 has failed out of college and has gone below the poverty line. He has been shrunk to a normal tiny size and is being shipped off to a corporate lab trying to modify tinys into perfect enhanced breeders to help the growing demand for tinys.
