Sara’s Shrunken Journey

Poor little Sara had been having a rough week. The fifteen year old red headed girl was just starting high school, and had only recently began to blossom as a woman when her parents go in trouble with the law, and instead of paying their debtors, agreed to have their daughter shrunk and sold as a product.
Sara was wearing a yellow shirt with flowers and a Jean skirt. Her red hair draped down that her shoulders. She was cute as a button and was cooed at by those who shrunk her.
“Awww aren’t you gonna be a cute little doll” said the fat black woman who ran the shrinking operation.
Sara could remember standing in front of that strange camera and in one click, the teen girl was now no bigger than a normal person’s thumb. Before she had time to process her new smallness, a man with a rubber glove plucked her up, stuck her in a small rubber cup with a lid and sent her to a packing plant. At the packing plant, Sara watched shrinkees young and old, male and female being wrapped with gift wrap and sent off. Sara realized there was no escape and stayed put. Soon a short Asian woman picked up Sara’s cup.
“Red headed female- 15 years old. Off you go!” With that the Asian woman slapped the gift wrap onto Sara’s container and stuck it in a mail slot.
Sara was scared as she was surrounded by darkness and didn’t know where she’d end up.
“Maybe my owners will be nice and play games. I may be small but that doesn’t mean I’m not worthy of a nice home. Maybe being shrunk won’t be so bad.”
As the four inch tall teen patiently waited for her fate, she felt the wrapping pulled off of her container. Without warming Sara was dumped out onto the giant hand of her new owner.
