"Reading" from left to right, the first symbol is sort of a backward 'K' that is tilted to the right. The second symbol looks like the number seven. The third symbol looks like a pennant flying to the left. The fourth symbol looks like a backward 'F' with a third horizontal bar. The final symbol are three horizontal lines running parallel to each other, with a vertical line splitting them in half. There is a tiny upside down triangle situated between the second and third symbols.
You can't make heads or tails of them, but maybe when you meet up with the rest of the group, your future brother-in-law can help translate them. He specializes in dead languages.
