Nodding to himself, Andrew knew he should embrace.

Andrew tried to convince himself that he should take it in his stride. After all, at one point it used to be a coin toss which sex you were born. He hadn't consciously chosen to be male, that just felt right because that was what he knew. Surely with time being a woman would feel just as right. Besides it was his duty, an obligation he should accept. He hadn't felt this way before being chosen. It was a privilege...

Despite all the rationisations he could make Andrew still wanted to run screaming at the prospect. It just felt wrong, and a punishment. He knew it was fairer than being born. He could choose how he'd look, and that was something those who were born women were denied.

He felt the sway of the Masculine Front arguments with a renewed passion, even as he recognised they weren't solving the problem. The idea of sex... of being on the receiving end... the end with the consequences was just plain terrifying. He tried to imagine himself as a woman, he didn't want to be confused for a criminal, but there was a certain appeal to that particular oblivion. To live a future ruled by lust and pleasure, and have your awareness reduced to a mere animal of needs. The thought was seductive and terrifying. If it didn't erase her awareness would the torture be more intense. It's fleeting awareness bear more of a sting.

The changes wouldn't come alone, he wasn't going to be flipped and then tossed aside, there was a whole training process to help those adapt and teach what would otherwise have been learned growing up. Maybe, Surely, that would counsel him... her to accept the adjustments. Surely once he was transformed, these questions and doubts would feel ridiculous. His new gained femininity as natural and real as his current preferences and expectations.
