Tori pulled out a clear glass bottle filled with a transparent, blue liquid. The label on the front said, "Growth Serum" and the smaller text underneath read, "Blueberry-flavored!"
Tori didn't really believe it was actually a growth serum of course, that would be ridiculous. Probably just some cute blueberry drink marketing, like if it had been called a mana potion from an RPG or something.
Tori twisted off the cap and brought the opening under her nose. It had a very potent blueberry scent. She brought the bottle to her lips and started to tilt it back to drink, but paused.
Why did it cost so many Sky Miles? She didn't fully understand the value of a Sky Mile but the number was extremely high. Should she really be drinking this?
1. Tori shrugs off her worry. It's ridiculous to think something like that existed. Besides, even if it theoretically worked, it'd probably just make her a couple inches taller, right? What's the harm in that? Tori drinks the liquid.
2. Tori still has doubt...she'll just take the tiniest sip just to assuage her paranoia.
3. Tori decides to wait, and just take it to school tomorrow. Maybe she'll get a friend to try it, so they can make her feel stupid for believing it could be real.
