Once she got to the main menu, Stinky heard her name being called by her father.
"Stinks! Can I see you for a sec?"
"Yeah, be right there, Dad!" Stinky replied, before she placed her controller on the floor, and stood back up.
Stinky opened the door to her room and stepped out, closing it behind her. Little did she realize, that something had begun peaking its way out of her TV screen shortly after she left...

Stinky met her dad in the living room.
"Hey, Stinks, I forgot to tell you something before you went for your walk," Stinky's dad said.
"Oh yeah?" Stinky said, eyebrow raised. "What's up?"
"Well, your mother left to go run some errands, and after I get off work, she and I will be going out to dinner together," her dad answered. "That means you'll have the house to yourself. Think you can handle that?"
Stinky put her hands and her hips and assured, "No prob, Dad! I can do that, easy-peasy!"
Her dad chuckled. "Alright, good to see you so eager. But just because you'll be alone, doesn't mean you can just stink up--"
"Stink up the house?" Stinky interrupted.
"Yes, exactly." Her dad nodded. "If you're gonna fart around here all day, then be sure to keep as many windows open as you can, and use air freshener every so often. Just because you'll be alone doesn't mean you can't just do whatever you want, OK?"
"Yeah, yeah," Stinky said.
"Hey, I mean it, Stinks. I know how you feel about Mom telling you to keep a lid on how much you fart, but she doesn't mean to do it just to boss you around. She just wants you to be responsible about it, that's all."
Stinky looked down at the ground, slightly embarrassed. "...I know," she muttered. "I just wish she'd ease up a little bit..."
"And she is," her dad assured with a hand on her shoulder. "Don't be mad, but the open windows and air freshener was actually my idea, not Mom's."
Stinky looked confused. "It was?"
He nodded. "She thought it'd be better if she took you along for her errands, but I told her that I thought it would be a better idea to give you a chance to prove yourself. Think of this as sort of a game, OK? If you can prove to be responsible enough to stay home alone without having the house smell too bad by the time we get back, Mom promises she won't be so hard on you about it from now on. Deal?"
Stinky smiled, and replied, "Deal!" as she gave her dad a hug. "Thanks, Dad - you're the best!"
"I know I am," he said sarcastically. "And hey, if you're feeling too lonely, you can invite Sam over."
"What about Dylan?" Stinky asked.
"Haha, sorry kiddo - one super-farting kid is already enough. Two in the same house spells - or rather smells - disaster."
Stinky couldn't help but chuckle at his dad joke.
"Anyway, that's all I wanted to tell you." He assured. "You got any plans for the day?"
"I'm probably just gonna stay up in my room and play this video game I got from Rosie's store," Stinky answered. "She had this really old one that looked super cool, so I'm gonna try it out!"
"Sounds like fun," her dad added, as he looked down at his wristwatch. "OK, about time for me to head to work. Love you, Stinks, hope you have a good day."
"Love you too, Dad! I promise the house won't smell too bad by the time you get back!"
"Promise?"
"Promise!"
As Stinky's father headed out the front door, Stinky took in the moment she had all to herself inside her home. It was the first time she could remember being home alone - every kid's dream! The chance to do just about whatever she wanted with no parental supervision.
Stinky was made all-too-aware that one of the challenges of her household was how she handled her gas. It was something just about every household had to contend with if any member of the family was a Stinker of course, but Stinky in particular made it no secret that she loved to fart as much as she wanted to. Sure, it didn't bother her at all, but it clearly bothered her mother enough to tell her to keep a better handle on it. It wasn't enough to cause significant friction within the family, but Stinky couldn't help but be bugged by it a little bit.
Well, if this is a game, Stinky thought, then I gotta beat it! Her first order of business was to go around and open every window in the house, from the living room to the kitchen to the bathrooms. The only one she hadn't opened yet was the window in her own room, but she was going back there to play her game anyway, so she saved that for last.
Maybe I can keep the one in my room closed, she thought. I mean, it's MY room, right? I should be able to stink it up as much as I want! After thinking about it for a few seconds, she figured, Nah, better not risk it. I'll just open it and get back to my game.
Another thought crossed her mind. Oh! Maybe Sam would like to see what it's like! I should invite him over and show it to him! She made her way to the landline phone located in the kitchen and dialed Sam's home number. After a few seconds of listening to to the phone ringing, Stinky heard Sam's voice on the other end of the line.
"Hello?"
"Hey Sam!" Stinky answered.
"Oh hey, Stinky!" Sam answered back. "What's up? You're up pretty early."
"Yeah, you can thank my Early Morning Fart Alarm for that," she chuckled. "Anyway, I just wanted to ask and see if you wanted to come over for a visit - I got this really cool game from Rosie's, and I thought you might wanna check it out with me!"
"Sure, I can be there in about 10 minutes," Sam replied.
Stinky looked at the clock in her kitchen and saw that the time was 8:15 AM, so Sam would arrive at 8:25 AM.
"Nice! See you then!" Stinky said, before she hung up the phone. With that, she let out a satisfied fart.
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaapppptt!
"This is gonna be great!" Stinky exclaimed. She decided to back to her room and open the window before she forgot, just so she wouldn't be distracted by the time Sam arrived and they started playing the game together.

As Stinky opened the door to her room and was about to make her way to the window, her paced was stopped dead in its tracks when she noticed something standing between her and her TV. The figure was--
