It didn't feel anything like waking up. The closest approximation I an think of is being the living embodiment of the big bang, though even then that hardly seemed to do the process justice. After twenty years on ice, the concept of light, the idea of sound, the sensation of sensation, all of it exploded into being in one cacophonous mass of meaningless inputs, which lasted both less than a fraction of an instant and also all of the time that ever was, is, or will be. There really is no way to describe it, that horrifying process of rebirth, but eventually my memories came back, and the cacophony transitioned into actual things that could be conceived of.
I heard muffled screams of pain and I felt movement as I moved through a tight wet cave not all at once, everytime I heard a scream I moved a little more.
Then I saw the light well sort off my eyes couldn't focus right colours emerged, then shapes, then objects but everything is blurry.
I then felt movement as I was taken into someone's arms and then I was immediately drinking something, I felt warm and thick as it entered my mouth and stomach.
The robotic voice entered my mind one last time and said "Mr Smith you are now a young, enhanced version of yourself but your mother has changed, your genes are now stronger and you no longer have a heart defect, congratulations".
The skin to skin contact felt nice and comforting then you heard a young woman say "I know who you really are John Phillip Smith but according to the rest of the world I just gave birth to our daughter, you are officially Joanne Madison Elise Smith now, I volunteered for this".
"When you are 21 you'll be given your estate and business back but for now I'll be living in your mansion getting a substantial monthly allowance to raise you".
Right now I can't talk or do anything as I'm as of right now a new born baby.
My family is a mix of French, Scandinavian, Italian and English, you'll be beautiful and I'm 21 years old.
