It's been ten years since the Orange Rain incident, and Japan is currently ruled by the Kaiju Queen Junko. After overthrowing the Japanese government in a violent war, the people of the Japanese archipelago now serve the Kingdom of Kaijus, where now the land is separated by a de facto feudal system with Junko's most loyal generals governing prefectures of Japan and the kaiju women now rule as nobility over the humans who now serve as peasants.
After consolidating her reign, it's easy to assume that she'll expander her influence across the world.
