Although green dragons look like dragons, they technically aren't dragons. For one thing, they're not sentient, having the intelligence of a very bright dog. They do gather treasure hoards of sorts to garner their nests, but never gems or precious metals or such things. Green dragons are attracted to wildflowers and such. During the springtime, a green dragon's nest can be quite lovely, if a bit garish.
Although green dragons do look quite fearsome (a male green dragon can reach nine feet in length), they are quite shy and solitary creatures, usually only dangerous when provoked.
