Your instructors say that you are probably the best mandolin player they've encountered in years. Not only that, your the first Aimsir bard they've ever personally interacted with. That is to say, some of your songs have the potential to influence the weather.

The operational word here is 'potential.'

There is a legendary mandolin, known as the Raindrop Mandolin, that, if played by an Aimsir bard, can influence the weather. Maybe even control it.

And that is the object of your first quest. But you're not going to go it alone. You're going to form an adventuring party of friends. And the first person you're going to recruit is your friend
