join other recent graduates on a great adventure

Her name is Kawyn, she is a sea elf maiden and a ranger, and you would follow her anywhere.

So would the rest of your group. Besides yourself, there is Coostow, a male triton Fathomless Warlock; Wenda, a female gnome artificer, Carock, a half-orc champion; and Weluya, Kawyn's female cousin who is a druid.

Although Kawyn is beautiful (as is her cousin), she is not the great beauty of her age. And it is not visions of romantic love that inspire you or the rest of your group to follow her. There is just some undefined qualituy about Kawyn that makes you hope she will lead, so that you can follow.

Now that you've all graduated, your group is going to follow Kawyn in a series of adventures with one eventual goal in mind:
