That is the philosophy behind the sword the clan calls the Uvataun, which literally translates “Wolf’s Fang.” The Uvataun is made by blacksmiths that live in semi-permanent villages along the kingdom’s northern frontier. The blade is made from ore gathered in bogs, with some element in the ore making the Uvataun’s blade stronger than even that of the nonenchanted swords found in the kingdom.
You’ve been living with the same tribe now for a few years, and just celebrated your twenty-fifth birthday. From the viewpoint of the kingdom, your a hair’s breadth away from going native. Not that you really care what the kingdom thinks anymore. You’re happy living with the tribe. You’re a respected warrior, with your Uvataun having recently been blessed by the tribe’s shaman. You’re in line to marry one of the chief’s daughters, as soon as you complete a major quest.
That quest has come in the form of five individuals, all recent Academy graduates, coming up from the kingdom who are specifically looking to find you.
