The cloud of smoke from the spout of the lamp tailed off, leaving the new arrival standing in front of Robin. She looked around at the women surrounding her. Her eyes fastening onto her lamp, and Robin holding it in her hands.
"Wow...!" Robin gasped in awe, shifting about, to see if she could work out the trick. But the others had all seen her appear from their own different sides. It was clear she hadn't just run in, after mundane puff of smoke.
"Ain'tcha cold?" Was Chance's first question, her eye drinking in the new arrival's body with delight. "Excuse my friend." Terror said apologetically giving her a playful elbow, to discourage the ogling.
"This was how my masters prefer I present myself." she answered. Uncertainty on her face she continued, "Things look different... I've been gone a while...."
Crone gestured with a roll of her arm to continue. "Who.... Who's the Sultan now? You dress daringly... I could ask why? ... Where are your mas...husbands? .... Are you a hareem?"
"We don't have masters!" Robin gasped, protested.
"We certainly don't!" Terror said pulling Chance to her side. Planting a possessive kiss on her cheek.
"There's never been a Sultan here." Lady said.
"You speak English well, for someone who thinks we need a master, husband or a sultan to rule us." Crone said. "We control our own fate."
"To answer your question, it's a gift of the lamp." Her nose crinkled cutely, as if explaining the simplest thing to a child, "I couldn't grant wishes if I didn't understand my... summoners."
