A blast of energy, seemingly out of nowhere sent Laura flying across the room and onto the couch, which flew back against the wall with great force. Picture frames and other apartment adornments were scattered, and Laura looked on in shock as a black, swirling mass of 'smoke' shot down through the ceiling and circled Dylan as he stood there, apparently unaffected by the same blast wave that had sent Laura flying. "DYLAN! WHAT'S HAPPENING!?" She screamed.
Didn't answer, simply because he didn't have time to. The swirling black smoke suddenly shot into his mouth and forced his head back as it disappeared inside. His cheeks were forced out and his body shook the whole time. A few seconds later his head snapped forward and his eyes shut themselves.
"Dylan?" Laura's voice squeaked out, as she clambered off the couch, surveying the wrecked room.
Dylan's head suddenly turned in her direction slowly, and his eyes opened... revealing an inky blackness. His face contorted into a wicked grin. "Hey babe." He said, as Laura began backing up. "There's always some curious little meatbag somewhere isn't there, willing to play around with powers they know nothing about." Dylan chuckled, as he held his hands up and clenched them a few times, before inspecting his body as though it was new to him.
"Dylan, what's wrong with you?" Laura asked, her heart beating in her chest.
"Not very bright are you, bitch?" Dylan chuckled, or rather the demon now possessing his body did. "Your little boyfriend ain't at home anymore, just me." He said, his eyes returning to their normal brown color as he continued grinning. "But hey, at least his little spell worked, right?" He said.
Laura gulped, looking first left and then right, before suddenly running for the door.
Dylan immediately lifted his left hand and made a sweeping motion, which sent Laura flying through the air and against another wall, landing on a small table and smashing it to pieces. "No leaving just when we're having fun." The demon laughed again, as Laura laid there, wincing and whimpering.
"Please, just don't hurt me, and let Dylan go." Laura cried, holding her injured arm.
"Hmm, maybe I will." The demon said, Dylan's eyes turning black again as he maintained his grin.
Laura just looked on in horror from her prostrate position on the floor.
