“We are going to Victorian era England, more specifically we’re gonna visit a distant ancestor of ours” said Olivia’s father as he flicked a few switches and pressed a few buttons which caused the time machine to power up
With the time machine powered up it suddenly disappeared to the perspective of those who were not inside the time machine when it left
In a field the time machine appeared and unaware Olivia and her father they were seen by a woman inside of her home who quickly left to inspect what to her looked like a large amalgamation of metal
With the time machine’s door open Olivia stepped out and was shocked to see that they had in fact moved
“ Our earliest pilots would report how like the present the past initially seems. The sound, the air... Like nothing's changed except space-time compression. And look, I can see the hairs... stand from the quantum-gravitational bursts. And I can hear the faintest sparks crackle in the air. Ah, this is quite ex…” said Olivia’s father before hearing Olivia throwing up
“Yeah after my first trip i was sick to but dint worry it only happens after the first two trips” said Olivia’s father as he turned to face Olivia
After feeling a little better Olivia asked if it was ok to look around to which her father said “yeah but don't wonder off too far now as you don't what could happen in different time periods”
“Ok i’ll be back in ten minutes” said Olivia as she started walking away
“Ok thats good as it takes ten minutes till the machine can jump again” said Olivia’s father
