Ranma prowled around the bath house, terrified of being transformed with a blast of cold water at any moment. However, it was his unwise fight with Master Happosai that had destroyed the Tendo family's own bathroom. The cost of the damages, the organising of the plumber, and Nabiki's scathing voice all added up to ensure that he joined everyone else at the same time.
Naturally, it was poor etiquette to not rinse off with cold water, after sweating yourself pure. But, Ranma was equally sure it was poor etiquette to turn into a busty young woman too.
Across the partition, the women of the household were washing at the same time. Akane, Nabiki and Kasumi were expecting trouble at every moment. Akane hadn't forgiven Ranma for the destruction, while Nabiki fumed at the cost. Kasumi was frustrated that she lacked the water to cook a proper meal. She hid it well.
Nabiki had offered Ranma-chan a choice of bathing with them. An option that had turned Akane into a spluttering fool, Kasumi had merely pinked slightly. But, the mime of taking pictures told Ranma exactly what he could expect as her revenue source for funding the repairs.
It was a relief, and a slight disappointment, when Ranma towelled off the last of the water from his body. He just wanted out of the bath house, and away from all that water, and nudity.
