Chara is a human who fell into the underground of Mount Ebott Not to long ago in this story, about a month ago in fact. And being the only human in the underground, she was taken in by the royal family of all monsters, the Dreemurr family, as their surrogate human daughter. But you already knew that didn’t you? You want to hear about her adventures in getting taller by unnatural ways, right?
One day in the underground central city, Chara was taking a calm leisurely stroll through down-town central, where shops and food courts were a-plenty. Walking along the sidewalk, she as in her train of thought of how nice it was that all the monsters of the underground accepted her into their society, almost in an instant, and that she has a new family that would care for her. Certainly, much better than her old village back on the surface. Everyone had zero tolerance for anything fun, ridiculed one another for the smallest of things, and were, honestly, kind of dumb. (Okay, REALLY dumb.) ‘Never really cared for most of those people anyway. I pull just a few harmless pranks and suddenly the whole village cast you out like savages.’ She thinks to herself. ‘Probably for the best I left that place anyway, I’m much happier where I am now. Besides, the monsters down here look like they can take a joke or two.’
“hOI!”
Chara immediately breaks out of her thought as she hears someone call out to her. She looks to her left and sees a... cat... dog... rabbit thing... in a cardboard box with “TEM SHOP” written on. “Oh, howdy. I haven seen you around here befo-” Chara says before the weird creature abruptly says “WOAAA! Da famus homan!” Chara, unsurprisingly, was taken aback from this sudden and strange outburst, but choose to roll with it. “Uhh, how flattering. I wouldn’t call myself ‘famus’ though. *Ahem* And who might you be?” “hOI im temmie. an welcom 2 tem shop!i!” Chara Continues the conversation, despite the difficulties. “Aw, well that’s wonderful..... Tammy?” “hOI im temmie” “Right, Gotcha.”
Chara decided to browse Temmie’s little shop to see what they have instore, but there doesn’t seem to be anything at all right now “So, you got anything for sell right now?” Chara asks, only for Temmie to reply with “hOI im temmie. an welcom 2 tem shop!i!” adding to her confusion. “Yes, you told me before. And I might be willing to exchange the money I have for any products you’re willing to part with, I just need to see said products.” Chara explained to Temmie. “hOI im temmie. an welcom 2 tem shop!i!” Chara was starting to grow tiresome of this back and forth. “Okay, this was a little endearing at first, but now its just annoying. Do you have anything for sale?” She asked “oHhHhH!i!i yah! tem Haz snal!!” Temmie yelled. Just then, what seemed to be Temmie’s arm seamlessly elongating from the box, was holding a little transparent baggie with flakes of some kind. When Chara took the baggie from the arm, it immediately retracked back into the box.
Chara observed the bag and the contents inside for a few seconds, then asked what the item was. Temmie responded with “tem flaks!” “Tem flakes?” Chara said. “ya! tem flaks! dey mak u BEG N’ STONK!” Temmie somewhat elaborates. “You mean these little things can make me grow if I were to eat them?” Chara asks. “ya. mac u go!” Now Chara was getting a little skeptical, but ask one last question “Okay, just one more question. What Are these, a type of drug or something?” “Probably.” Temmie says clearly, somewhat surprising Chara, but the latter choosing to roll with it and paying for the item. “Sounds find to me, so how much do I owe ya?” But Temmie declines the payment to give the flakes for free. (I think...) “noo muns! he man good! three off CHARG-A BUSTAAAA!”
...
It was probably time for Chara to head home. She gives her good-byes to the ‘shop keeper’ and goes back home.
Now that Chara has the Tem Flakes that could make her grow, one question leaves to be answered, when dose she eat them, and how many does she consume?
