Chapter #5

Crushed by the peasant girl

    by: EggzSupreme Author IconMail Icon
"I'll show you what humans do to mean, ugly bugs!"
She said angrily, then threw Barii to the ground with all the force that a child throwing a tantrum could muster.

Barri cried out in pain as his body hit the ground, he was hurt badly but still alive. He struggled to even get up, every movement he attempted was met with sharp pain. The young fairy's face went pale as he noticed a very distinct shadow come over him, when he flipped over on his back his eyes went wide in terror.

Right above him was the bare sole of the peasant girl. It was rough, lightly calloused and very dirty, a sign that she was very much used to being barefoot all the time. Beyond the looming sole, the doomed fairy could also clearly see Mary's furious expression, her young eyes burning with murderous anger.

Before Barii had any time to apologize and plea for his life, Mary's foot came crashing down.
In an instant, the delicate and fragile body of the fairy boy was utterly crushed and flattened by the rough sole of the farmer girl.

"Hmph, that's what you get!" she said with a frown and a huff. Then she began twisting her foot to further alleviate her anger, the feeling of the fairy's warm blood under her sole as well as his bones snapping made the young girl giggle with cruel glee.

When she finally lifted her foot, all that was left of Barri was a small pile of sparkly blue goop.
"At least your crushed body is pretty, stupid fairy!" Mary said, then she wiped off her foot on some nearby grass and began heading towards her home.

She would arrive to her mother safe and sound, completely uncaring that another child would never return to their mother because of her actions...
