When you first arrived in Laketown you thought you had to be halucinating. Some of the acolytes of the blue lady had come to your villiage, spreading tales of their great, kind patron...and well, to be honest, you wanted to get away from where you were, with the Green Lady's metal giants constantly hunting new subjects and being away from the Orange Behemoth's usual routes...So you went with them.
You traveled with them on a vessel unlike any you had ever seen, they called it a "Boat". It was pushed along by unseen, unknown forces atop the water of the great lake until you first saw the island, a beautiful seaside city, bustiling with life and busywork was the first thing you saw. So foreign to you was the great cities lack of an exterior wall that it could scarecly be believed, no armaments, no guards...No this was different, this place was a city with a patron goddess, it needed not to fear attack. It wasn't a city of hunters and warriors, it was a city of Artists.
Statues carved out of the very rock of the earth dotted the shore, massive in there scale, all of the same slender, beautiful woman. Murals and mosiacs of blue shared the image of this muse on the walls and roofs of the city. But it was also a city of scholars.
Humans could be seen building and design new, outlandish devices, a bent hull of a boat being hooked up to some kind of apperatus before it filled with air, hovering over the bay...
And then you saw her. Along the beach, at first almost appearing to be some kind of mountain formation. You had seen the gods before but never up close...and this cities muse became oh so clear as you saw the Blue Lady herself, Lapis Lazuli...
