"On second thought, why don't spend some time alone, to get to know each other?" Annalise asked. Jack looked at her and shrugged. "Sure, I'm cool with that". Annalise grinned, showing off her warming smile. "Great! I know the perfect place". She carried Jack over to a secluded area of the waterpark which only had four other people. It was just a general wading pool, nothing too exciting. But there were plenty of beach chairs to sit back and relax on, and since it was pretty quiet, a good place to hang out. Annalise put Jack down on one of the chairs, then sat next to him, only narrowly missing him.
"Well, I'll be honest, I have lots of questions," Annalise said. Jack nodded. "Of course, I'm sure you do. I mean, how often do you see someone like me around?". Annalise laughed. "Never, that's how often. But for starters, how did you get that small?". Jack reached into his clothes to grab his shrink ray and show the girl, but he couldn't find it. "Oh my god.. where is it?" he exclaimed. Annalise looked puzzled. "Where is what? What are you talking about?". Jack looked at her, concerned. "I was going to show you how I got this small. I have, or now had, a shrink ray which I used to fluctuate my size every so often, but now I can't find it. I probably lost it somewhere in the water park, I'm so stupid," he ranted.
Annalise was worried for the little guy. "Well, I'll help you look for it, if you want!". Jack smiled. "That's an awfully nice offer, but it's very small compared to you, it would be very hard for you to spot. Oh well. I'm sure I could buy another one. Although, I'm not sure how I'm going to explain to my family why I look like this". Annalise giggled. "You know, Jack, you're really nice. I wouldn't mind if you came home with me and we could get you another one". Jack laughed. "You're so sweet, you know that? I wish I could do that, but I would probably worry my mom".
"We could always give her a call and let her know what's going on," the giant girl suggested. "I don't have my phone, though, I wouldn't be able to do that. Another thing, I also came here with my friends, they're probably worried sick about me. Ugh, I really did not think this trip through". Annalise tried to calm Jack down. "Listen, I'm here. I'll give you a lift to anywhere you need to go, just say the word". Jack looked at the girl. He was really starting to like her. "That would be great, thank you. I'll give you my friend's number so you can call her and let her know where to meet us". Jack proceeded to give Annalise Portia's number and they called. After a few minutes of explaining and planning, Annalise hung up and picked Jack up. "Okay, Portia and her friends are going to meet us at the front gates. I'll drop you off with her there. Then maybe, you and I could plan something out sometime? Just you and I?".
"Absolutely!" Jack said. His excitement got Annalise to laugh. "You're so cute, oh my gosh. Anyway, let's get going. Oh, but I've come so far with you, I don't want to lose you," Annalise winked. Jack was about to ask what she meant by that, but he soon found himself getting hugged on both sides by two large, tan orbs. He looked up and saw the smiling visage of his new friend. Jack laughed. "I'm keeping you close to my heart, as any friend should," she giggled. Jack sighed, but he was happy. Annalise walked over to the designated meeting point, where she saw Portia and her friends waiting. Annalise waved, and everyone met up.
"So, where is he?" Portia asked, clearly concerned. Annalise looked down, and Portia's eyes followed. "What's he doing in there?" she demanded. Annalise giggled, and Jack slid a bit further down. But, she quickly grabbed him and pulled him out of her bosom. "Just wanted to keep him safe. I didn't want to lose him and bring you all back nothing". Portia eyes Annalise suspiciously. "Yeah, okay. This wasn't some ploy was it?". Annalise blankly looked at her. "No? Why would it.."
"Portia, I'm fine. Annalise treated me great, she's an awesome person. I appreciate your concern, but she really did protect me," Jack intervened. Portia huffed. "Fine, let's go then". She forcefully grabbed Jack out of Annalise's hand, then began walking away. Jack yelled out his phone number to Annalise, who smiled and gave him a thumb's up.
