This choice: Before Jack could do anything, the teacher comes around to the girl's seat • Go Back...Chapter #3Before Jack could do anything, the teacher come... by: Tisch   "So, it looks like..." The girl tried to begin to speak with Jack, but was cut off as the teacher quickly swooped around to her desk. "Sarah, what's this? This isn't acceptable, I'll have to confiscate it until the end of class," the teacher said with a tone. Sarah tried reaching out to grab Jack again, but the teacher beat her to the punch. "Young lady, toys like this can be misconstrued as something used to enhance one's academic ability and those products are strictly prohibited". In place of Jack, the teacher placed down a packet on Sarah's desk. "Here. With your newfound distraction out of the way, you can join the rest of class in the packet on biodiversity in the Amazon". Sarah groaned and gave up her pursuit of Jack. The teacher shortly thereafter left the student and went back to her desk.
Jack, meanwhile, was panicking as he was being carried back to the teacher's desk. Her hand held a tight clasp on him, unforgiving in any space. It was starting to get a little warm for Jack, perhaps being in such a small space, but regardless. He tried squeezing his way out in between the teacher's fingers, but all that got him was the teacher's attention as she sat down. "What kind of toy is this, anyway?" she mumbled to herself. The teacher unfolded her hand, releasing Jack onto her desk. He landed with a soft thud, then got up and stretched. "God, lady, could have given me less room to work with?" Jack sarcastically asked. The teacher's eyes widened in surprise. "Oh my gosh, you're no toy. You're a person," she gawked. Jack rolled his eyes. "As are you, can we move this along, please? I really shouldn't be here".
Shaking her head, the teacher came to her senses and kept her voice low when talking with Jack. "I'm Mrs. Morrison. And you are?". Jack huffed. "I'm Jack, I'm a senior and I shouldn't be in this class". He looked around for a moment. "Isn't this a class for freshman?". Mrs. Morrison smiled. "Yes, this is a freshman biology class. Would you like to join us?". Jack gagged at the thought. "No thank you. As I've previously mentioned, and as you have failed to recognize, I need to be elsewhere. Would you mind letting me out into the hall? That would be very helpful," he responded. "Oh, that's unfortunate. I'm afraid I can't let you go, you're much too fragile, you could get stepped on. I'll hold onto you for now, to make sure you're safe," Mrs. Morrison warmly spoke. Jack shook his head. "Well, a.) I'm much more durable than you think, believe me, I've already been stepped on before. And b.) I'd like not to be held hostage, so please let me go".
Instead of hearing Jack out, Mrs. Morrison reached out for him and grabbed him, slowly moving him under her desk. "What are you doing?!" Jack called out. The teacher used her other hand to motion him to be quiet. Jack kept calling out in frustration, so she covered his mouth with her finger. "It's okay, I promise I'll protect you. I'm just going to put you in my purse, then I'll bring you back out when I'm on break, okay? Okay". Jack herd the sound of a zipper behind him and turned around, just to see the belongings of Mrs. Morrison quickly come into view and get closer to him as he dropped. After landing on a pack of bubble gum, Jack looked back in horror to the teacher zipping her purse back up. Now without any way of escaping this possessive teacher, Jack could only wait.
