“I was buying you a gift.” The words weren’t my own but as soon as I said them I knew what I would do.
“A gift? Why didn’t you reply.” She asked surprised, curiosity tinged the edges of her voice though.
“My phone died,” I lied, “But did you want to see it?”
“Yes.” She replied temporarily having forgotten our earlier conversation.
My fingers rustled the paper gift-bag as I slid my hand in, fumbling to put on the ring. Wait, when did i learn how to use it? Is that really the question you want to ask now? The voice spoke in my mind as I affixed the ring. Would you not rather ask what you should do to her? I know what I'm doing to her, I’m going to ask her how much she would change when I know she isn’t ‘being nice’ with her reply.
I brought the ring out of the bag and showed it to her. I watched as she gazed deep into the ring.
“Kalosa, can you hear me?” I asked her.
“Yes.” Her reply was short and monotone, with none of the playfulness from before.
“Kalosa, how do you feel?”
“A little tired, Kind of sad from before.”
“From our conversation?”
“Yes, and the movie.” Oh. See, she’s honest now, you could ask her anything and make her not remember it. Like these instructions.
“Kalosa…” She is your toy now, have a little fun.
“If you could hypnotise me into being different, what would you change?”
“Your horniness to begin with, You’re always horny, I love you but it’s too much secondly i'd get rid of your fetishes, I’d also make it so you preferred to dress up with me, you would look so nice dressed up..!”
