It was a bright sunny day when Kitty Pryde woke up at Xavier's. She went down for breakfast after getting dressed and brushing her teeth. Most of the other students were already out and about by this point so she didn't really have to battle anyone for the bathroom. As she came downstairs, her stomach rumbled rather loudly. "Wow. Like, I must totally be starving." Kitty remarked as she patted her trim tummy.
So she went to the kitchen and fixed herself a large bowl of cereal. She quickly devoured it, only to discover she was still pretty hungry. So, she made another bowl as well as some toast. Once again, she quickly devoured the fairly big helping of breakfast, burping slightly after she did so. But then, her stomach still rumbled in hunger.
"Like, what's the deal, belly? You're usually not so hungry." Kitty remarked as she nevertheless made another large bowl of cereal and two stacks of toast before devouring them quickly. This time, her stomach seemed to be satisfied as it didn't rumble in hunger again after she finished up. With a contented sigh, Kitty stood up, placed her three empty bowls and plates into the sink.
"Like, I totally hope you're full for now, belly. I really don't know why you were so hungry all of a sudden." Kitty remarked as she went into the living room to relax as the X-Kids and New Recruits all had the next few days off from training.
Little did Kitty know how much hungrier she would become over the next several days as she went into the living room.
