Gender

This is the modern AU at least how I imagine it
Magic is how we normies see it
Hogwarts is still a castle but instead of a school of magic it’s an elitist school of academic
Penny Haywood is the student body President of your year, have high marks in every class
Tonks is the class clown who manages to squeak by with her grades
Chiara Lobosca is a shut-in who is allowed her wolves at the expense of everyone else
Rowan Khanna is your first friend and the school’s bookworm even though she gets asked to leave the library for hoarding the books
Ben is still a coward and is called a mama’s boy but will rise to the challenge as long it’s not scary ie 98% of everything he can’t do
Merula Snyde is the school rebel rocker, she heads up her band ‘The Banshees’ with her electric guitar even though it’s just her and her friends
Ismelda Murk is Merula’s friend and bassist for The Banshees, she is a pessimist but sometimes optimistic about what she wants
Barnaby Lee, the drummer for The Banshees, enjoys animals and extremely oblivious to lots of everything, only god knows how he’s keeping up with his grades (seriously he could’ve been held back a lot)
So on and so forth I don’t wanna sit here and describe everyone, also the school’s main sport is cross rugby which allows girls and boys to be on the same team to play
