Seriously, You’re not sure if its the fact that you’re a little older than the other members of the group, or maybe its because you’ve done and seen a lot more having been born in London not only making you the only “city slicker” in the group, but also the most traveled as you’re the furthest from home. This has caused you to be thrusted into a weird position where everyone always seems to look to you when they’re unsure of what to do.
If Tony were the teams dad, then you’re definitely the mom, and unofficially next in line if a new captain is ever need.
Most people describe you as “tough, but fair”, and your unofficial nick-name is Momma Bear, but you’er rather comfortable with that.
The competition was simple, there's 5 members on each team, so each of you will be pared up against a member of the other team and play a series of 3 matches. the player to win 2 of the 3 will be declared the winner and the whole team will get a point.
The team with 3 out of 5 points will be the winning team and this years champions. With that of course comes cash, fames, and prizes from the competitions sponsors.
But what the media and the rest of the world isn't aware of is the little side bet you all have going.
This stupid bet. Where the hell did Tony get off making a promise like that with all our lives?
Then he turns around and chokes on game day. Nick and Sumiko were able to win their matchups, but Gwen and Tony definitely didn’t bring their A-games today.
Then theres your opponent, Tenchi Miyamoto. He is probably the best player on the Edge_Runners roster, and now its come down to you and him to decide who will take home gold, and the other team and he cant even speak english.
The game is TitanFall 2. Its a good choice. You feel like you got lucking with this one as you enjoy playing it anyway.
The first two rounds go about as expected. You are able to squash him in the first round, but he he was clearly just trying to feel you out because he comes back in force in the second round and theres not much you could do to stop him.
Now the score is 1-1 and this last match will be the big decider. Will you win or lose?
