Curious Balto

Balto stopped just short of stepping on you and looked down at you with a confused stare. He lowered his head and pretty soon that big wolf muzzle was right there in front of you. “You look human, but that can’t be right” Balto said as he sniffed you with his large nose. “Humans are much bigger than you are. What are you?” His breath washed over you as he spoke. “I am human, I don’t know how I became so small” you said, glad that the wolf’s first instinct wasn’t to eat you. “Very curious” Balto said, giving you another sniff. You could tell that the wolf had no ill intentions, and instead seemed rather interested in you. Your eyes stared at the wolf’s…
