As soon as the transformation was completed, the state of hypnotic paralysis in which Ashley and Burnet were locked in ended, and as soon as they woke up from their trance, the new mother and daughter hugged each other.
“Ashley dear” Burnet said with a big smile on her face while hugging her new daughter
“Mom” Ashley happily said while returning the hug.
After a while, the two separated and Burnet took her new daughter to the sofa, where they sit down together and started chatting with Burnet wanting to know everything about her daughter’s adventures and the Grand Trial on Ula'ula Island.
Some time later, Ashley had covered most of her story “And so after receiving a Lycanium Z, I bid farewell to Island Kahuna Nanu and Acerola and I took the first fairy back home”
Burnet smiled and gave her daughter a small kiss on her cheek “I’m proud of you Ashley. To think you already won your third grand trial at such young age.”
Ashley smiled and took one of her pokeball “It’s all thanks to Lycanroc hard work mom” And with that Ashley call out her Lycanroc out of his pokeball. As the wolf pokemon appeared Ashley went on her knees and hugged him as a thanks for all his hard work. Lycanroc responded to the hug by shaking his neck around Ashley in sign of affection.
Burnet then got up from the sofa and said “Well I guess I better finish prepare our massive dinner.” With that she took Ashley by the head and started ruffling her hairs while giggling “I am sure my champion daughter and her pokemon are extra hungry tonight”.
Ashley started laughing and once she was freed by her mother she said said “ I’ll help mom” but Burnet stopped her daughter
“No way. Tonight is your big night, just relax with your pokemon. Your father should be home soon as well.”
“Okay mom, but before that, there is something important I need to tell you” Ashley said
