Keya Looks around to see if anybody knew she shrunk. The McDonald’s is busy it’s after work and the evening rush is in. Around her, Keya can see all kinds of people . Swish comes the white tennis shoe of a middle school girl. As she steps over Keya to get to the counter. Kia screams and rolls as the shoe steps down. Obliterating an unfortunate ant .
Who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Kia watches the girl step forward the ant plastered to her shoe. Before the girl steps and the aunt is never seen again.
“ that could’ve been me”, “ that almost was” but Kia never finishes that sentence. Above her, she can see the shadow of a black foam flip-flop. It descends towards her and she rolls out of the way.
“ just in time to a second longer and I would’ve been crushed,” Kia remarks. The 18--year-old girl's black sparkly flip-flop, had almost crushed her fingers. An inch or two closer and Kia wouldn’t any longer have a left hand.
“ I have to get out of here but where should I go?”
