Due to the legal issues Logan's sentence wouldn't officially start until he was purchased and a count down timer activated by the cashier upon sale confirmation.
Unfortunately for Logan due to the nature of his current state a high price was placed on him, effectively leaving him on the shelf for about a month. during that time Logan had several people look at him and show great interest until they came to the price tag then he was put back down gently, and then walk away.
As with most stores, if a product sits long enough it is either reduced in price, given to an employee, or sold in bulk to whomever will buy said items.
