Chapter #6

Harem Inn - Ryoko's resurrection

    by: Former182 Author IconMail Icon
Keiichi decided to spend the next few hours getting his belongings from the Dorm. Belldandy spent her time cleaning her room, Urd's room, and Keiichi's room before going to cook lunch and dinner.

When something in one box made a noise of metal cans clinking against another metal can, Kitsune and Urd appeared at one point. said, “Can we help move a few things?”

“Sure,” Keiichi replied with a smile as he brought a box into the Inn.

The two lovely ladies grabbed the box, opened it up, and said, “Jackpot!”

They walked away, taking out the liquor within and drinking as they walked out of Keiichi’s sight.

The smile on Keiichi’s face turned fake before he muttered, “They could have at least brought in a few other boxes before doing that.”

Whenever Keiichi brought in a box where the alcohol inside wound up making noise, the two popped up, grabbed the box, and drank the alcohol before leaving the box behind. Urd at least had the decency to carry the box to his room.

Eventually, Keiichi (and Urd) brought the boxes to his new room. He wiped the sweat from his brow and looked around. He carefully took out an expensive bottle of Fallen Angel Sake from a box and hid it inside his shirt. Then he carefully left the Inn and towards a cave within the forest behind the inn.

Grandma Hina told him that a powerful demon had been sealed in it long ago and told both him and Megumi to stay out of it.

In the present, Keiichi entered the cave, muttering, “I hope that today was a one-off. Those two can’t possibly steal every drop of beer and sake I bring in… right?”

He stopped when his foot nearly kicked an old empty can of Beer. He recalled how when he and Megumi were still kids, a teenaged Haruka took him and Megumi inside the cave a few times, but not too far in. Just enough for her to enjoy the fear in the child-aged Keiichi and Megumi’s eyes. During one of those, Haruka showed them that she hid some stuff in the cave, as Hina never went inside. Haruka offered to hide stuff for them, but they refused.

‘That was a close one. Last thing I need is for Kitsune and Urd to know every hiding spot here,’ Keiichi thought. After some time, he found an old metal gate. ‘Now how did Otaki explain how to lockpick?’

After a few failed attempts, he unlocked the gate and headed deeper inside. Once Keiichi felt safe, he sat down on a rock… and slipped down a tunnel.

He screamed all the way down. After crashing into the ground, he slowly sat up…

And smiled when he saw the bottle of Fallen Angel Sake was still in one piece. He said, “Soo glad this didn’t break.”

Then Keiichi looked around and saw he was in some underground cave with a pond. His head kept turning as he took in his surroundings as he muttered, “I guess this is as good a place as any to hide stuff. No one would find anything here, like that mummy!”

He froze for a moment before he quietly asked, “Mummy?”

Keiichi slowly walked to the pond and stared at the bound figure in the water. It was human-shaped. It had a red Hannya mask on its face with silver hair floating about. The torso’s skeleton was visible, while the limbs were tied in red-colored roots.

Keiichi blinked a few times, unsure of what to do.

Then the Mummy’s eyes began to glow red. Keiichi quickly placed the Fallen Angel Sake near pond within the Mummy’s sight. He loudly said, “Please accept this offering of Sake! It’s mine and my sister’s favorite brand!”

Keiichi then ran back to the tunnel-slide and quickly climbed up it.

Once Keiichi left the cave, the Mummy slowly climbed out of the pond and reached for the sake.

A frightened Keiichi spent the rest of the day either by Belldandy’s side or in his room unpacking his belongings. Either one, he was jumping at shadows.

Urd and Mutsumi were concerned and kept an eye on Keiichi… Well, mostly Urd. Mutsumi either kept passing out or talked about how the situation reminded her of certain episodes of Liddo-Kun… and they were often disturbingly gruesome synopsis of what was supposed to be a child-friendly show.

After Mutsumi described an episode where Liddo-Kun, Professor, and Dummy were so paranoid about being killed by demons that they killed each other out of fear, Urd asked, “Was that a real episode or are you a nightmare fetishist?”

Mutsumi giggled, “I don’t understand the question, but maybe?”

Kitsune found it amusing and cute, but couldn’t resist sneaking up on him and shouting, “BOO!”

Naru was too busy grumbling about Keiichi being there to even think of helping him.

As for Motoko…

Belldandy had dragged Motoko to the latter’s room. Though she tried to struggle, Motoko was unable to free herself. After being tossed onto the floor, she asked, “Ms. Belldandy, why do you insist on defending that vile man?”

Belldandy asked, “The Gods’-Cry School was meant to protect Kyoko, avenge misused magic, and defend against demons. In what way does attacking innocent men because you fear them count as any of those?”

“Men are not innocent!” Motoko spat.

“So you judge and sentence before listening to any evidence. Though it pains me, I shall do the same to you,” Belldandy said before a slight glow around her body for a few moments before Motoko’s body briefly glowed.

Motoko felt something be locked within her. Though it was still there, the feeling of power felt like it was trapped. With fear in her voice, “What did you do to me?”

Belldandy stared at Motoko for a few seconds before she said, “I am a goddess. I have many licences, one of which is a Valkyrie license. A deal was brokered long ago between a group of human Swordswomen and some Valkyries. You… have shown you are willing to break some of the terms, all because of your hate. But I do not wish to seal your power and skills forever. I shall give you a chance to overcome your misandry. Once you do, the seal will break and you will be able to use your skills again. Don’t and you will remain as you are. If an emergency calls for it, I will temporarily lift the seal.”

Belldandy left. Motoko took a moment to compose herself and scoffed before heading off to train. To the Aoyama’s horror, she could not recall how to do any training or any of her moves. Any attempt to do so wound up with her tripping and landing in erotic poses. If Keiichi was nearby, he was too busy lovingly looking at Belldandy or putting away his belongings. Motoko felt oddly angry at that.... She did her best to dismiss the idea she was jealous.

When night fell, Keiichi and Belldandy were sitting behind the Inn, watching the forest as they held hands. Behind them, a beautiful woman teleported in. She had wild silver hair and yellow irises. She raised a hand up, ready to summon an energy blade to scare the couple.

Only to be grabbed by Urd and Kitsune.

The woman struggled to free herself as she angrily said, “Huh? Let me go! You don’t know who you’re dealing with!”

Keiichi and Belldandy looked behind them in confusion.

The Norn of the past said, “Oh, but I do! You look like you’d be fun at a bar!”

“Yeah! Come with us!” Kitsune said. “Drinks will be on the guys, all thanks to our pretty faces!”

The woman stopped struggling and happily said, “Oh?! Well, in that case, you’re speaking my language! I’m Ryoko!”

“I’m Urd and she’s Kitsune,” Urd said as she and Kitsune freed Ryoko. She pointed at Keiichi and Belldandy, saying, “He’s Keiichi and she’s Belldandy.”

Ryoko waved at Keiichi and said, “Thanks for the Sake earlier! It really hit the spot!”

After Ryoko, Urd, and Kitsune left, Belldandy asked, “What was she talking about?”

Keiichi rubbed the back of his head before he nervously said, “Well, I was getting mad about Urd and Kitsune stealing my sake and Beer, so I looked around for a hiding spot. I went into the Demon’s cave, found a mummy, got scared, and left my last sake as an offering before I ran off.”

Belldandy smiled as she clasped her hands together. “Ah! I think I understand! Your gift helped her restore herself! You did a good deed! Thank you!”

A worried/confused Keiichi nervously laughed, “Ah ha ha… I guess so? Thanks?”

The truth was that Ryoko did like the sake, but restored herself all on her own. All the Sake did was provide a welcome distraction as she recovered. She had planned on playing around with Keiichi. If he died, then she might’ve been sad before moving on… Assuming she could have escaped Belldandy’s wrath.

The next Morning, Keiichi felt a pleasant weight all around him. When he opened his eyes, he saw that Urd was sleeping on his right, Kitsune was sleeping on his left, and Ryoko was sleeping on top of him. They had his blanket on top of them. The two on his sides pinned his arms down, but his hands had been groping their soft posteriors.

Keiichi was too scared to say anything. He thought, ‘Urd is Belldandy’s sister and could be as strong as her, if not more powerful. Kitsune can call that Aoyama lady who could cut me with her sword. I don’t know about this Ryoko lady, but I better play it safe.’
