“Get me more pictures of Spider-Man!” Peter hears as he leaves Jameson’s office. It was near the end of the day, and he had just been paid for his pictures. Now all he needed to do was go on a patrol, and his day would be complete.
This is what he’s doing right now as he swings from the buildings of New York. It looked like a normal day as he dealt with a few purse-snatchers and bike thieves. Until he noticed several shady figures entering a warehouse in the late evening, everything about it said illegal activity, which is why Spider-Man popped open a window and slipped inside.
He quietly walked along a catwalk as he saw two groups of criminals standing opposite each other. A man wearing a tracksuit and a gold chain strode to the table in the middle and set down a briefcase.
“Here is the payment,” the man said with a thick Russian accent. “Where is the weapon your boss promised?”
“It’s right here by good man,” a man in a dark trench coat placed a smaller briefcase on the table and slid it towards the Russian.
The gangster popped open the briefcase and pulled out a raygun. “And this will take care of the heroes messing with my businesses?”
“The Molecular Reorganizer will easily take care of the heroes. That is a Tinkerer guarantee,” the trench coat wearer answers. “So, let’s see-”
The man could not finish as Spider-Man swung down and kicked him in the face, sending him flying into several of his men. The Russian pointed the raygun at Peter and pulled the trigger, but nothing appeared to happen.
“I guess you should have sure the sellers charged it first,” Peter quipped as he punched the man in the face, taking him down. The rest of the goons barely put up a fight before the web-slinger had them all webbed up for the proper authorities. “Man, you guys sure make things easier for me with these meetings. Otherwise, it’d take forever to catch you all.”
With the proper authorities on their way, Peter swung out of the warehouse and made a beeline for his home. The moment he climbed through the window, his Spider-Sense started to go crazy. His body shook violently, forcing Peter to hunch over in pain as he started to change.
