"See, when I was born, the doctors notice a gene in my DNA that appears to be unstable. They believe that it wasn't life threatening, but kept me in the hospital for further study. After months, they haven't got a clue why that gene is altering at an alarming rate. So they let me go and I was with my family. Course, what they didn't know is that the gene in my DNA alters my body, both physically and mentally. I learned that when I was just a toddler, looking up to my mom and wishing to be just like her. When I thought of that, my body grew and shifted to make me the exact image of my mom, complete with mannerisms and memories of my own mother. It's really strange at first. But as I grew older, I learned how to control it just by thinking of the person I would turn into. And even if I wish to return to normal, just thought of myself in my mind and I back to my old self. Freaky, wouldn't you agree?"
You listened to your girlfriend explaining to you about her rare condition and was quite shocked at it. So much so, that you asked, "Yeah... That is really freaky. Does your mom and family members know of this?"
She turned away and was a little hesitant about it.
