Winter goes first and she is aware of the Dark ...

After what happened at Beacon, Ironwood had told Winter about Salem, the Maidens, Magic. Of course she was sworn to secrecy so she wasn’t going to tell Weiss or anyone else. But her new knowledge along with spending so much time in the presence of the Winter Maiden, had made Winter more in tune with magic. She could sense a magical presence around them, she just couldn’t tell where or who it was coming. She also didn’t know why such a magic was surrounding them or what effects it would have.

But Winter was determined to help her Sister feel better and forget her troubles, at least for a little bit. So she Started off their little game.
