A little third wheel

You had no idea who sent this to you or how they knew that being shrunken down was a fantasy of yours but you didn't care. Not only did they give you that power, but you could also come back to your normal size whenever you wanted. Just imagining all the people and places you could see at this size got you excited, so why waste anymore time.
You looked out at the car in front of your house to see the couple still sitting together on the hood of their car talking, so you act fast. You put on a jacket and hide the note in a drawer, can't have anyone seeing it. You then quickly head outside and lock the door behind you, the couple doesn't seem to notice you but you still walk away from so they can't see you shrink. You hide behind a nearby car and activate the ring just like you did before.
You don't know how, but you were already so good at using the ring's power. It's almost like the creator of this strange piece of jewelry made it just for you.
You ran your way back towards the couple, luckily they stayed still and continued to chat. You made it all the way to their feet and while catching your breath you looked up in awe at the humungous couple. The two towered so far above you, it was a little painful craning your neck up to look at them. But you weren't going to stop here, you wanted to explore things you never could at your normal size so you made a plan.
You were going to stay with this couple all night and if anything went south, you would grow back to normal and head back home. Of course you couldn't make yourself known and let them know that you were spying on them so you had to keep a low profile.
You were about 2 inches tall now, but used the ring to shrink to about half an inch. Now these titans looked even bigger to you but it was going to help with transportation. The young woman was wearing a pair of gladiator sandals, this would usually not really be important however you would be able to squeeze your way in between her toes in order to stay with them.
So that was what you did, and now that you were wedged between the toes where are the giants going to be taking you this evening.
