Chapter #2How about following a different kind of school... by: Elrick How about Brightvale High, school of the magically gifted. A place to learned magic and alchemy where everything’s possible; especially the impossible. Like it’s non magical counterpart, this Brightvale also follow the senior class as they approached the annual Halloween festival; where magic is at is strongest and where dark forces threatened to unleash their dark power and influence among the students and the teachers alike. It is here that we find magical version of the previous characters, like:
-Amy Hanson (The innocent): short blond hair, shy & loving. She has a hard time learning practical magic and invocations; but found herself to have some talent when it come to herbs and healing. She as a crush on Matt Brewers (“the guy next door”).
-Brittany Lewitt (The athletic): long chestnut hair, athletic & competitive. She’s in the broomstick racing team and is a close friend of Amy and Victoria. Her specialty is physical magic where she can lift more than anybody else.
-Victoria Nelson (The bookworm): long curly brown hair, glasses & bookish. She’s almost always in the library and is a close friend of Amy and Brittany. She’s very good at history and astrology.
-Anna Hanson (the kid): Short, brown hair & naive. She’s Amy little sister and go to the same school as her; although she hasn’t yet starter her proper magical training; which infuriate her.
-April Hanson (the mother): Tall, short blond hair, conservative & motherly. She’s Amy’s mother and a great healer.
-Carl Hanson (the father): tall, slim & dress very conservatively. He’s a magical accountant with very little magical aptitude. He’s also Amy’s father.
-Rebecca Jones (the mean girl): long brown hair, bitchy & superficial. She the school mean girl and don’t hesitate to bully the other girls, especially Amy and her friends. She occasionally smoke, drink heavily at every party and she also have sex with Adam, although they are not in a relationship. Her thing is charms and enchantment, and she never hesitate to use her skill to get an advantage.
-Vanessa Crittenden (The beta girl): short black hair, cute but dress modestly. She come from a rich family and follow almost everything Rebecca does, although she’s a lot nicer than her. She’s just not confident enough to oppose her openly. Contrary to her, she hates smoke, almost never drink and is still virgin. She’s very good at divination and Rebecca often use her skill to help herself.
-Jenny Mallick (the punk): long red hair, punk & aggressive. She’s a bully and she hate Amy, her friends and Cassie for being all goody and perfect. She like to drink, smoke and cause trouble. She’s also in a relationship with Aaron, the school bad boy and bully. Unfortunately for her, her magical skills are subpart, to say the least. She can barely cast basic level spells and it’s made her resentful toward the others.
-Lisa Millard (the goth): Short black hair, passive & open minded. She’s friend with Victoria and she’s very good at invocation and the art of speaking with the dead. She works at Charles Weyrd magical shop and is Zack's sister.
-Amber Stone (the cheerleader): long blond hair, airheaded & fun loving. She’s friend with almost everyone and, even though she’s not the brightest, she’s always trying her best. She’s in a relationship with Tommy the quarterback. She’s a very good illusionist and often use her skill for spectacles and to impress people at party’s.
-Cassie Blaine (the perfect one): long blond hair, beautiful & studious. She’s also from a rich background. She’s also an overachiever who don’t have time for boyfriends or anything like it. On the other hand, she’s also one of the school best wizards and pretty good at pretty much every single class; except divination.
-Beth Brown (the nerd): long dark hair, huge glasses & nerd. She’s always the best when it come to theory; but is one of the worst when it come to practical magic. Fortunately for her, what she lacks in other disciplines, she more than make up for it with her skills in alchemy and potions making. Because of her weaknesses, she always been envious of the other girl; and more than one she tries to use her potion making skill to cheat her way and steal power for herself.
-Matt Brewer (the guy next door): Short brown hair, medium height & geeky. He’s your average guy doing his average thing. He likes Amy, although he never confesses to her. Although he doesn’t shine particularly in any field, is usually alright in pretty much all the classes.
-Zack Millard (the joker): redhead, small & immature. He like playing pranks and causing trouble for his own amusement. He’s a close friend to Matt, have a huge crush on Brittany and is Lisa's brother. His main skill is transmutation: the art of changing one’s and others appearance.
-Adam Hydes (The player): tall, blond hair, womanizer & party goer. He like to play music and flirt with every girl he finds attractive. He has something going on with Rebecca, the two of them having sex without being in a relationship. His specialty is teleportation and transportation magic.
-Jack Lindsey (The jock): Athletic, short black hair & loudmouth. He plays football, like to drink, and never seem to shut up. Like Brittany, he’s strong in physical magic; although not as much as her; something he’ll never admit to, ever.
-Aaron Blair (The bully): long black hair, leather clad & possessive. He got an on and off relationship with Jenny and, like her, like to drink, smoke and causes troubles. Even tough he is in a relationship; it doesn’t stop him from ogling and flirting with the other girls. Like Jenny, his magical skills are limited and quite unremarkable. His bullying relies mostly on his physical strength and his underhanded tactic to get what he wants.
-Tommy Willey (the star): short black hair, athletic & popular. He’s one of the most popular guys in school while also being a pretty nice guy (even though he can be kind of dumb). He’s in relationship with Amber. His magical skill lies with defensive magic.
-Nora Black (the headmistress): long black hair, stern & professional. A no nonsense kind of woman, she does her best to maintain order in her school. She’s also one of the most powerful wizard.
-Christine Watson (The divination teacher): short brown hair, slightly overweight & open minded. She does her best to be there for her students, even though she’s having a hard time with some of them (especially Jenny and Rebecca).
-Travis Owens (The physical magic teacher): muscular, athletic & outgoing. He’s the cool teacher that everybody loves (especially the females’ teachers).
-Lauren Croft (The defense again the dark art teacher): long black hair, sexy & adventurous. She just came from an archeological expedition in south America and love to entertain everyone with her tales. She teaches how to protect oneself against magical curses and other magical perils.
-Chelsea Harris (the potion teacher): messy long dark hair, slightly overweigh & a slob. She hates her job and would love nothing more than to be in high school again, when she was beautiful and popular. She’s often the one buying cigarettes for some of the students, taking a cut out of it.
-Angela Crittenden (The old posh witch): Long blond hair, voluptuous & posh. She’s vanessa’s mother and rule over the parents’ council. She’s an egotistical woman afraid to get old who use her money and influence to get everything she wants. She also used to be a very powerful witch, but her aging body his holding her back. She dream of nothing more than to find back her youth and impose her will on everybody else.
-Charles Weyrd (the scholar): squared jaw, greying hair & tall. He own a small magical shop close to the school where he also collects a variety of esoteric objects. Lisa work for him at the shop.
