A creature of solidified magic slimes appear to spawn out of nowhere due to the ever present existence of magic these monsters are born consisting of their slime core and an outer protective shell. Although neither quite solid or liquid the outer layer is much more fluid and can reform from any amount of damage as long as the core isn't damaged.
Spawned about 6 in. Long with no intelligence slimes only instinct is to feed on anything around them, including other slimes. After consumption of other creatures slimes begin to build basic intelligence. Due to the nature of a slimes spawn conditions it is rare for only one to spawn in an area. Therefore it is normal for slime to be found in small communities of 5 or so 3 ft long slimes. Although made of pure magic spells from even the weakest of mages can usually destroy a slime easily. Rarely slimes that become strong enough can absorb weak spells and even take a humanoid form. Extreme cases occur where a giant slime consumes entire villages. These cases require an melee experts and under no circumstances should a mage attempt combat against such slimes.
Deep in the mountains there is a ravine untouched by mankind. This rock formation creates an entrapment for natural magic creating a natural slime nest. Bigger than most nests there were about eight, 4 ft, slimes in this nest. The slime of focus was one of the youngest slimes to survive the consumption of its' sibling and was able to avoid being consumed by the bigger slimes. When it reached a certain length other slimes seemed to stop trying to absorb it allowing it to feed on smaller slimes without worrying about being attacked itself. Everytime the slime ate it felt more, getting not only stronger but also more aware of itself. While the other slimes seemed content with coexistence this slime wanted more. One day it took action attacking a slime slightly smaller than itself and far bigger than what the other slimes would try to consume.
It was a difficult battle but after the slime was clearly the largest in the ravine and was more aware of everything including herself. Now she was aware of being more than just a ball as she raised to a petite feminine form standing a little over five foot tall looking over the others. After her attack the other slimes coward from her presence but due to the environment trapping the slime that just ment she could pick off the others one by one. Soon the girl was the last slime standing even going as far as consuming the magic in the air essentially eating slimes before they were able to form.
The slime girl found that now she could stretch her form to up to limbs and body and that she could condense to a stronger smaller form. At 7 ft tall the slime kept a solid upper body with an unformed lower body. She discovered she could will her limbs into different shapes like knives, hammers, or basically any shape she could think of.
When she felt she had a good understanding of her new body the slime...
