At the end of your deliberation, you decide it would be troublesome if your identity disappeared from the world just to be replaced by a second copy of your current crush - someone needs to fill the void that would be left behind by "Tim Leary," and if you're going to take over the role of Olivia Hanson, it would really have to be her. Involving anyone else would just turn the whole thing into a huge mess, especially since Kyle and Derek have already expressed their disinterest in being involved.
"I want you to make Olivia and me switch bodies."
"Okay, that's a start," Vivienne replies. "And...?"
"And, nothing," you say. "I mean, I guess I'll need her memories and stuff, and she'll need mine, but don't, like, erase our old ones or anything."
"Mm...sorry, no can do," Vivienne says. "There's probably a spell like that out there somewhere, but I don't know it. If you want to overwrite your personality, I can't leave traces of it. That part's all or nothing."
You gulp. That makes things a bit harder, but your intentions haven't changed. "Just our bodies, then. I don't want to change who she is."
Vivienne rolls her eyes, smirking at you. "But you're willing to force her spirit into your body."
"It's not--" you start, but Vivienne holds up her hand.
"Never mind, Tim," she cuts in. "As long as you're not asking me to wipe someone's personality out of existence, I don't really give a hoot what you do. Now, brace yourself."
All it takes is a few hand motions from Vivienne, and a trail of light, deep violet in color, traces its way from her finger, piercing through you and the still-frozen Olivia near the door. At first, you feel something being pulled out from you, from your very core, but after a moment, the feeling changes. It becomes more akin to something being stripped off from around you, as you're the one being pulled forward along the beam of light.
It's only another moment before you regain feeling in your body. Your new body. Light, brown hair falls around your face and down your back. Your feet are smaller, your face smoother. There's a weight on your chest and a very noticeable void between your legs.
Kyle's voice snaps your attention away from your new form. "Hey! Olivia, Tim, you coming?"
You look over your shoulder, at your previous body, now shaking its head as if to try and clear it, staring down at its hands, and giving you a look of equal confusion. Vivienne has vanished entirely.
The former Olivia exclaims, "Uh, be right there! Sorry!"
Your old body rushes over to the rest of the group, and the four of you quickly start back towards the woods. Before you reach the tree-line, however, the old Olivia grabs you by the arm - not roughly, but enough to stop you from moving forward.
"Was this you?"
