The two of you walk back through the gray woods in silence. There are no words as the trees change from monochrome back to their normal greens and browns, and you and your "brother" continue to simmer as you breach the treeline, back into the town proper.
It's two days! What's she getting so mad for over two days? Part of you digs your heels in.
Then again...it's not like I cleared it with her, or even warned her. Another part relents.
But still! Two days? She's just being crazy.
But then, I basically stole her body.

"You've graduated from 'never' to 'not until this is fixed,'" Danielle says plainly. "...And I want that body back in the same condition you got it in."
"Fair enough," you say. "Alright, well, this has all been very tiring, so I'm gonna get to bed...bro."
Danielle snickers. "Don't push your luck."
You shrug, and bound upstairs, into the bedroom you know to be Danielle's. Her nightclothes are thrown on the bed, a simple pajama top and bottom, so you waste little time changing into them.
