The year is 2162, and theoretically the independent fleets of the founding members of the United Federation of Planets are being folded into Starfleet.

Theoretically.

In reality, the various fleets in the UFP were still being run and maintained by individual member states.

But integration has to begin somewhere.

Your character is a female Vulcan who will become a science officer on the USS Argus, crewed entirely by humans. Until your arrival, that is.

Sublieutenant T'Run -- A recent graduate of the Vulcan Science Academy, you've had minimum training in the Vulcan Exploration Fleet before reporting to the Argus as a junior science officer.

Subcommander T'Haas -- A seasoned officer in the Vulcan space fleet, you survived T'Pau's purge of the Vulcan space fleet with the disbandment of the Vulcan High Command. You will be reporting to the Argus as its Second Officer and Chief Science Officer.

Minister T'Maitor -- You originally came from the Mirror, Mirror universe, a fact known only to T'Pau. The "prime" T'Maitor died three months before a laboratory accident brought you from the Mirror, Mirror universe to the prime one. You were rescued and nursed back to health by T'Pau, and are fiercely loyal to her. You hold the title of Minister without Portfolio in her government, and will be serving as Mission Adviser on the Argus, with undefined duties.
