The USS Zenobia was just a few light years away from Risa, heading there for shore leave, when she came under attack by four unidentified starships. The attackers weren’t overwhelming the Zenobia, but they were like wolves attacking a bear, circling around, just waiting for an opening to make the kill.
There were a lot of questions to be answered, such as who these attackers were, and how they got this deep into Federation space. But those questions would have to wait. For now, the Zenobia needed rescuing.
You walk on the bridge just as the Captain orders the ship to engage warp drive. But even at Warp 9.5, it was going to take the Lamarr twelve hours to arrive at the site of the battle.
