Cryl huddles in the cage watching the humans pack up camp. Four men grab the cage and manhandles it into the carriage. They throw a canvas over the top and Cyrl whimpers curling into a ball she wouldn't be able to find her way home if she couldn't see. Tears slip down her face and she allows herself to cry now that no one can see her.
Cryl topples into the bars and jerks awake. The carriage shudders to a hult and voices move around muffled by the canvas making it even harder to separate the words they speak in the foriegn language. The canvas opens and light pours in. Cryl shades her eyes watching the man as he contemplates something. "Od uoy deen teg tuo?"
Cyrl stares back her face scrunched as she tries to understand what he is asking. He drops his eyebrows and watches her. He shrugs and offers her a bisket. She reaches out and snatches it before he can pull it away. When she doesn't put it straight to her mouth he makes a eating motion. "Tae."
She puts it to her mouth and takes a small bite. "Taheh?" she asks struggling to pronounce it.
He laughs and nods taking a bite of his own bisket. "Tae." He drops the flap and moves away.
As Cyrl listen's she recognizes the name her people said the humans called them.
"Eht Nymph nrael ot yas, eat." The rest of the conversation is lost as the men move away.
Cyrl pulls the cloak up around her and falls asleep.
The cage lands heavily on the gound. The canvas is dragged off and Cyrl covers her eyes the glare of the sun making them water. When she realizes she scrunches up and hides beneath the large cloak. Many complaints rise in the crowd and the man who had landed it reaches through the bars and yanks it away. Leaving her on display with nothing hiding her from frightening prying eyes. Small children giggle, pointing and poking at her with anything they can get their small hands on. After dealing with it for a short time she bursts into tears having had far too much. Her capturer's take pity on her and intervene pushing the spectators back out of reach.
