The Anthronian Woman was what was known in scholarly circles as a mistuxus.
Among common folks, 'mongrel' was the kindest word used to describe the Anthronian woman.
Although humans and Anthronians could engage in sexual congress, their internal biology was such that, ninety-nine percent of the time, no offspring was produced by the act. In very, very rare instances, and only between certain combinations (such as human males and feline female Anthronians), a sterile offspring was produced. These offspring were referred to as mistuxus (plural: mistuxi).
The female mistuxus in front of One Eyed John looked remarkably human, save for her shell-like ears, vertical slit pupils, markings on her neck, and a tuftless, leonine tale that emerged from the base of her back. The mistuxus had light olive skin, dark brown eyes and long, straight, raven black hair. She was a very beautiful young woman, with a slender, feminine build and a very prominent bustline.
"Please, Jonn," the mistuxus repeated. "My lady has need of your services. Won't you come with me?"
