Dialga used some uncanny combination of moves that sent Giratina's character flying off the stage. He got up on all six feet.
"WHAT WAS THAT?!"
"Um, it's called getting a bit too hot-headed," Dialga responded calmly, hiding a smirk.
"NO, THERE WAS LAG!"
Palkia tried to calm Giratina down, but Dialga continued before she could say anything. "Well, maybe that's why you're called the 'Lord of Distortion'," he said jokingly.
Giratina, couldn't take anymore, and he stomped down the hallway, presumably in his room, to sleep it off.
Palkia paused the game, and Acreus only sighed. She then started to lecture Dialga, "Come on Dialga. Why can't we just get along for once so we can play a game?"
Dialga looked at her with a bored look, "Look Palkia, if Giratina actually played well, I wouldn't be joking then-"
Palkia was suddenly furious, "Oh, so you are saying that he just has to 'play well' and then you won't do that. Dialga, HE HAS NO FINGERS! You really expect him to do well!?" Dialga stammered but Palkia wasn't finished, "You are literally making fun of his inability to perform normal tasks because he has flat paws the size of clipboards!"
Dialga was starting to feel remorse, "Ok ok, I'm sorry. I can talk to him and we can get back to the game right?"
She sighed and shook her head, "No Dialga, I'm talking to him first. I can't trust that you will make the situation better without me helping Giratina get into a good mood again."
Palkia started to walk away, but Dialga wasn't done, "Wait, can't we at least finish the game first?"
"Dialga, I'm not playing the game until Giratina is ok."
Acreus watched the two argue uncomfortably, wondering if he should throw in the towel and try hanging out another time. Palkia continued
"Yeah, well if the game is unfair to him then he isn't going to have a good time, so if we just finish this match right now, we can all do something else."
Palkia wasn't having Dialga's behavior tonight, but she felt that pulling Acreus into the situation wouldn't be fair. She considered her options...
