You turn around, seeing your best friend in the entire school, Serena! The honey hair girl moving her way towards you through the crowds of other girls.
When she got close to you she smiled at you as you look at her.
She was the first girl to really talk to you. You didn’t have anyone, until Serena moved her way in and talked. It was a bit awkward at first, which felt really weird. However, the two of you have spent a lot of time together, and right now you were so comfortable around her.
“Hey Serena, excited for today?” You wonder to her.
“Yeah I am.” She smiled back as the two of you walked. “I am going to be baking a big project today. A tray of cooked and baked chocolate.” She smiled to you.
“I didn’t even know you were in the cooking club.” You chuckle to her before getting a bit serious. “I uh... you haven’t told me that... before right?”
“No, don’t be worried.” She giggled. She’s got a really pretty giggle honestly. “Although, I would really love it... that when it’s ready, maybe... you want to try some.”
“Well, as long as they are good. You’re cooking it so i’m willing to bet.” You chuckle to her. Serena smiling at what you said, a bit of a red tint on her cheeks which you didn’t realise. “So you are doing that this morning, what am I gonna do?”
She looked her way back to you in return as she kind of wanted to invite you to her class. Her schedule and yours weren’t really the same. You two only had one class together and when you had a free lesson, she had cooking class, and vice versa. Although you don’t really cook at all.
“Maybe i’ll go and see-”
“Incoming!” A voice shouted as you and Serena both turn around. Seeing a girl on roller-skates coming down in lightning speed.
Now on gut instinct, you push Serena out of the way. Shoving her to the side, just as the girl collided with you.
“(Your Name!)” Serena shouted as you were laying on your back, feeling hurt. Looking up you see the girl who was on top of you mounting you.
“Hello Korrina.” You knew exactly who the giantess was. Who else would have roller blade in school.
“Woo, thanks for cushioning my fall. A-Again.” Korrina said in a real sorry.
“It’s fine, can you get off me.”
“Y-Yeah.” Serena said to the side as she held Korrina up. Once they were both up, you move around and stand up. Facing the girl.
“Just be careful, okay?” You say to her as Korrina laughed, moving her roller blade and spinning around.
“I always am. It’s just when people get in front of me the trouble starts.” She joked. “What are you two up to?”
“Oh i’ve got cooking class.” Serena said. “And (Your Name) has a free lesson.”
“Hey!” Korrina said sliding close to your face. Due to her skates she had a couple of inches more than she actually was, so she was right in your face. “Maybe you wanna come skating with me. I got a pair set about your size i’d say?”
“No thanks.” You say back to her with a laugh. “Last time I went out with you, I dropped into a garbage bin.”
“Okay, but that was hilarious!” Korrina laughed as you had to chuckle yourself.
“W-Wait... when you say go out with her...” Serena said, a look of concern in her eyes for a sec.
“Not like on a date Serena, you can relax.” Korrina giggled, as she has picked up something that you really haven’t.
“Honestly I don’t think i’d survive.” You chuckle back to her.
“If you change your mind, hit me up.” Korrina said as she started to ride away. You smile at the blonde as Serena came in.
“So... w-when did you two... go and do something.”
“It was I think when Shauna invited you to watch that boring romance film.” You say to her as she pouted.
“I know I shouldn’t of gone with her.”
“What was that?”
“N-Nothing. So... what do you plan on doing?”
“I don’t know. I really have a lot of free time don’t I.” You say back to her. “Maybe I should just join the tech club.”
“You really don’t like them.”
“They all seem like weirdos and stuff. I take one look at them, and I don’t really want anything to do with them.”
“Well that’s not very nice.” Serena said to you. “You shouldn’t judge someone on what they look like, you should meet them first. Who knows, maybe they will be good friends of yours.”
“Yeah I guess, also the four girls who are in there are kinda cute. Being with four girls wouldn’t be that bad.”
“I don’t think you should go to that club.” Serena said. “You don’t want to get roped in whatever they want.”
You chuckle to Serena before hearing the bell. She was distracted by the school bell, kinda sad the two of you were going your own ways. As for you, you could see some of Serena’s hair has moved out of place. Must of been when you got her out of the way of Korrina.
“Hey Serena, hold still for a second.”
“W-What do you?” You moved a hand close and flipped some of her hair back, leaning in to make sure it looked good. As for Serena, who felt your hand on her cheek, and saw you leaning in to her face... to her lips.
“Ahhh!” She panicked, going away and breaking from you. Eventually she pretty much ran from you as she made sure you could not see her blushing face. “S-S-See you l-later!”
You just wave to the girl. As for you, who didn’t pick up on anything. You just looked at your weird friend running.
