You and Hilda both let out screams as your worlds go black and green, a rushing and, what could only be described as a very sciencey BLOOP noise filled the room. You and Hilda both felt the effects of the lasers the most prominent of those feelings is a feeling akin to goosebumps covering your body, but several times over. It felt like you were being pushed in all sorts of directions, and both you and Hilda bump into each other in the ensuing chaos. Hilda knocks you over and you both fall, right as the beam stops.
Both you and Hilda groan in discomfort, feeling your heads swim and your bodies ache as you feel the effect of the experiment. "That... That was..." You started, letting Hilda finish. "Horrible..." She mutters. You couldn't help but nod in agreement, before you realized you felt a weight on top of your body. Your vision swam, but you opened your eyes... To see Hilda directly on top of you. Your face goes tomato red as she's pressed against your body, and her face is close to yours. Hilda seemed to realize it as well, her gaze as surprised and face just as red. Neither of you really move... But both of you realize one of your hands is on her chest. Before Hilda can move or slap you, or something else, you all hear a loud sigh from Juniper. "Oh come on! You weren't supposed to shrink!! Damn prototype..." Juniper said annoyed. You both whipped your heads around and froze again. Professor Juniper, who was normally a good 5'6, now seemed to stand hundreds of feet tall. Hands on her hips, and perplexed look on her face, you both just stared up at the skirted giantess. "Well... My lasers diagnostics has informed me you two are more durable now. But as you can see the tint chance of diminishment has occured." She sighs.
You two again, just stare, with Hilda eventually breaking the ice. "H... How do we grow back?" Hilda asks, scared. She sits up, straddling you waist, which makes you blush more. "I mean... Th-this isn't permanent is it?" She asks. Juniper despite being so tall, could easily hear her shrunken subjects. "Oh no it isn't permanent. I'm working on a growth ray as well, it's just in the preliminary stages... So, you might have to wait a while" she said smiling. "Bright side... This experiment is a success!!" She says happily. You and Hilda both groaned. Even in a situation like this, Juniper still had positives.
