Worried Kara tried to scan around with her x ray vision but she got nothing not that it was being blocked but that her x ray vision simply didn’t activate.

Sighing Kara said “I don’t need this right now” before contacting the DEO and telling them that her powers have burned out again and that Sam’s missing

“Alright, Kara stay put j’onn is near by he’ll find sam and get you both back to the base” alex said trying racking her brain to fix this mess.
