Tiny in the Lunchroom

Abby got let out of her math class early and made it to the lunchroom before anyone else. The lunch ladies were not ready yet, so Abby just sat down at her usual table to wait. Something in her pocket was poking her uncomfortably. She reached in and pulled out the shrink ray, realizing she accidentally grabbed it from her locker instead of her phone.

As the janitor walked by with his mop, he bumped the table. The jolt caused Abby to drop the shrink ray. It clattered on the tiled floor and then whirred to life. Before Abby could do anything, the beam of light shot out and hit her in the leg. Instantly her skin became tingly. She squeaked in shock as she began to shrink. The dizzying motion was over in just a few seconds.

Abby surveyed her surrounding. She was standing on the round plastic seat rather than sitting on it. The bumpy blue surface extended into the distance in each direction. Craning her neck, she could see the table far above, with gum stuck to the bottom.

Suddenly the bell rang, nearly making Abby jump out of her skin. Not too much long later, giant teenagers began shuffling into the lunchroom. Abby could not believe how massive they looked. Unsure what to do, Abby just stood there and watched. The smell of pizza wafted through the air, making her hungry. Distracted, Abby did not notice her friend Luke until he was standing right over her. He wore jeans and a black t-shirt which hugged his slender figure. Before Abby could think, he began to sit down right on top of her. Scrambling the other way, Abby...
