So which of these characters' stories will you follow?
Artugrafus -- Your family migrated from Athens to Rome three generations ago, and have served loyally in the Imperial Bureaucracy ever since. You have just received an Imperial commission to create a geographical tome of the lands beyond Roman borders
Buja -- (Inspired by the Grimm episode "Last Grimm Standing") -- You originally came from somewhere south of the Empire's African territories. You remember you were a prince before you were captured, but that's all you remember, as you were a young boy when you were taken from your native lands.
Your people are known as Lowen in the Empire, and are highly prized as gladiators in the Coliseum. Lowen are stronger and faster than most humans in their normal form. Lowen can also transform into a leonine humanoid shape, where they are nearly unstoppable. Transformation leaves you mentally and physically exhausted afterwards.
You recently earned your freedom, and are pondering your future
Timothus Vulpus -- A recently released legionnaire (after having served twenty years in the legion), you're hoping life will provide you something more than farming that land in Germania you were given for your years of service in the Legions
Amlaq -- (Inspired by the Xena episode "Giant Kuller") -- You come from a race of giants where the men can reach twenty-five feet in height. You served in the Imperial Auxiliaries in Asia Minor for a short time before migrating to Rome to seek your fortune
Ragen -- Originally from Germania, your family has always been on the poor end of the merchants serving the market. You've recently come into good fortune, and you mean to use this good fortune to elevate your family's position by securing an exotic trade route. You also belong to a secret society known only as The Pack.
