Your day begins near a small temple dedicated to Mercury, on the outskirts of a village to the north of Rome.

The temple itself might be small, but the temple grounds are quite expansive. They have to be, to hold the various buildings used in the training of those who act as the eyes and the ears of the Empire.

The sun is just coming up as you walk out on the grounds to meet your trainer
