Your name is Karl Schultz, and in another life, you would have been known for making the best Franzbrötchen in Hamburg.

You come from a long line of bakers, with dignitaries and celebrities of every stripe visiting your family's business for its Franzbrötchen. Legend has it that one of your ancestors once served a French baguette in a pan of butter, which would eventually evolve into the Franzbrötchen.

If the Harvesters hadn't invaded, you would probably be following the family tradition. Instead, you are now a high ranking representative of United Europe, acting as that organization's official liaison to the United Earth Defense Forces.

Today you are receiving a briefing (along with other dignitaries) on Earth's latest single seat fighter, the JD-13 (nicknamed "The Tiger"). The briefing is being given by
